i have sat in one at a recent car show in toronto, it was nice, but not something i would run out to buy this instant. The seats were comfy, stereo sounded awesome, just couldnt get past the amount of plastic they used on the interior. Also the trunk opening left alot to be desired. it was very small compared to the challenger.

Still like mine better...
Hope it outperforms the Dodge and Ford though!

The front grill on them just doesnt seem to flow with the rest of the car for some reason imo. I like the 4th gens better personally but these seem to perform pretty well at least if nothing else.

Well, I can't say I dig that color a whole bunch, but I drove a G8 GT 2 weeks back, and since the Camaro and it share the same platform...should be an awesome ride. The G8 was REALLY nice to drive, did not feel heavy at ALL. Handled really well too, for as big and heavy as it is. And performance wise, should be enough for most people, to me, it hauled pretty well. In fact, it was so good, I almost was thinking about taking it home with me that day. It really is a 4 door muscle car that can be driven every day, without compromise, IMO. It is much better than I can describe it to be, really has to be driven to appreciate it. Since the Camaro is lighter (a bit), more power (with the LS3), and looks better IMO, I think most naysayers will change their mind.

Challengers and Mustangs definitely DO NOT make my jaw drop. But I am neither a Ford or a Dodge fan.
New Camaro - while I generally like it, every post I have read about it say opinions will get better when you see one in person...so let's hope so. As for 4th gens being nicer - ummm NO. But hey, each to their own. I wonder if the IROC boys were saying the same thing about 4th gens when they were released!! Seems to be a lot of naysayers and haters of 5th gen Camaros here for an Fbody board....it quite surprises me! Come on you guys, if Car and Driver can get 13.0 flat out of a stock SS, that means Al could buy one and potentially break into the 12s ![]()
