GMPP clutch lasted very well for the torque/traction abuse it took & grabbed very well but absolutely street friendly, I just got spec stage 2+, will hopefully get it back together in next 2 weeks or so, been very busy, I have emailed spec & they are very confident that their clutches can handle more torque than advertised, plus they say stage 2+ is very street friendly for modified cars

Yeah, just ordered a Spec Stage 2 yesterday, should be here next week, and then I will tow the car to where it will be worked on...and hopefully back on the road, ready to go after that!

Just as an update, got the new clutch in, and it seems to be working out alright, grabs pretty much like stock, and feels like stock, probably a little better to boot. So I am happy about that...

However, a new problem has arisen, was driving the car at the start of the week, and now the steering wheel, and going down a relatively straight and flat road, little to no wind, and the steering wheel shakes just a little back and forth. Now the tires are not new anymore, and one of them I found out that same day when I took a look has a screw in it (not losing air yet, though I am sure it will), but I don't think a screw would unbalance the wheel to that point of noticing it. I have been told it could be the steel belts have shifted in the tires, or that one of the wheels could of lost a balance weight...whatever it is, it is annoying, as the car has been fine before. Other than a few slow speed bumps, I cannot think of anything that could of disturbed the front end that much...

Thanks for any and all suggestions!

P.S. Going to CT tonight to put on the new front 2 tires, going to see if that makes a difference...

I have had wheels go out of balance just from getting dust on them from a gravel road, some wheels are bad for going out of balance...I did have a weight come off my car(stick on weight)and it was real bad on the hwy....you might just need new tires, IMO they should be replaced every year LOL maby just the back ones.

Yeah, I am starting to think the same now. Went to CT last night, but there was too long a wait, and I drove the car a little bit, and the shaking is only at around 100 clicks, so hopefully it is just a tire that is messed.

UPDATE:

Rotated the tires/rims, and the shaking is pretty much gone, so it is just the tires (hopefully). Going to be installing new tires this/next week, so hopefully that takes care of that.

If you just rotated front to back type of thing and there is indeed a ballance issue, then I don't see how that would solve the vibrations.

Where any of the lugnuts loose or much easier to remove than the others?

I'm still missing the weight on one of my tires and I don't notice it at all.. even at the ass end of the speedo

I ended up replacing the rotors, and that took care of the wobble, woohoo!
