510s are still fairly small but with adjustable reg should work ok as you can raise fuel pressure up. I ran 650s on my 50 trim 500 hp turbo on my 92 talon for bit more headroom supra tt pump, adjustable reg.
On the 91 race talon went big with 1150s, reg, supra tt pump ,big lines. On the 97 got 950s, supra tt pump, big lines, reg. Course going for 650 to 750 hp on the race car and around 650 on the 97 as well. Yeah I like the supra tt pump but the walbros work decent for cheap. Still wonder how come that evo is so light and is awd and the talons are so much heavier in awd form. I think have got about four pounds off my 91 still have to weigh it but did a lot to get it that much weight off. Bumpers are gone,no sway bars, light fuel tank, downpipe only no catback or cat.Lightweight wheels. No air, cruise ,abs..no back seats not much behind front doors, lightweight corbeau seat, etc. Still want to take out power steering and would like cf hood. That likely will be about all the weight reduction do on the car. Anyway good luck with the evo should go decent for sure.

for the 22lbs of boost I wanna run for now till i get out of hand with this thing itll be fine. the fpr is key, also the 80lph fuel pump is what really holds these things back. I Honestly have no idea why they are so light, but the numbers dont lie.

What year and series. Just did some quick wikpedia look up. Some were indeed light. Would have thought a four door would for sure be heavier than two door talon. And by such a big margin. As said all the awd talons are like 3100 range. Not super heavy but not super light. After all a vette is around 3100. Compared to my fat 4000 pound 99TT those cars are very light and awd does hook awesome even on street tires.
Actually would think your clutch will be one of first things to go at higher boost.Especially if you are trying to maximize 60fts.

let me start off by calling you a creep, then clear the air with a thanks.
Nah meet at the Y for work and just hop in with boss man and he also lives on whelan so sometimes meet there ha. I am super happy to be rid of the 240 and start off with a clean slate where I can slowly do things over time and enjoy it in between. hmm maybe i should make a new thread for it, however it doesn't really fit in around here. |
