Well, I was thinking about getting a Hooker Aerochamber muffler until I heard this sound clip:
http://www.londonfbody.com/videos/MOV01875.MPG and this one http://www.ss-perf.com/videos/dyno42005.wmv The second video has the whipping sound at 2300ish rpm while accelerating.. i'd image this would sound just as bad as my bullet muffler did.. sounded like a hick truck with cherry bombs... CLAP CLAP CLAP......... under light throttle when you hit 2000rpm. Also the dynomax bullet sounded awsome except between 2000-2600rpm where it decided to make funny noises. I'm picky. Any recomendations? I love the way my flo-pro muffler sounds but it is pretty quiet and I need a new muffler with dual outlets.

That clip doesn't do the Hooker system justice... I have the Hooker catback, and it sounds nothing like that. IMO, its the best sounding system. Sounds really badass.

That does sound really good... but doesn't really sound like mine either, lol
In person, the Hooker system sounds alot deeper and less raspy than both of those clips show... it just makes the engine sound alot bigger than it actually is, but without being unnecessarily loud. You kinda have to see and hear it in person to know what I mean. ...but different engine setups will sound different, too, don't forget about that.

I dug out an old video clip of my car. I have the Hooker Aerochamber muffler. I think they sound good considering the whole cat-back cost less than $400.

I had a set of Hooker Mufflers on my camaro with a BBC they sounded awesome, but were very restrictive. and also heavy. I now have a 3" mandrel bent system with Flowmaster Delta force Mufflers. Its all about the camshaft.... LMAO lumppity lump.

The Hooker Aerochamber mufflers are excellent, although on that same note I absolutely love the sound of my Dynomax Super Turbo.

Go with a dynomax bullet race muffler. I love the way mine sounds.
http://www.ls1.ca/soundclip.mpg I think they are around $40-50
