They were copying a book build of some sort. Kinda of a father-son progect that never was finished.
I am pretty sure the BBC bottom end wouldn't fit under the LS1 heads unless he used some LT1 exhaust manifolds...

Hey ryan, is your block and crank still good? Why not just rebuild your bottom end with decent parts, probably almost come out the same price in the long run and then you'll have a decent bottom end to handle some power?

not sure l think i spun a bearing lots of metal gold filings in the oil. bad knock under load even when turning the motor by hand. btw thanks again ck for helping me figure it out! wish the dolar was a lot better right now...
